WorldCast Systems has announced the arrival of Version 1.3 software for its Audemat MC6 portable audio test and measurement platform.
The company says the new release introduces two software modules designed to streamline lab workflows, support automated testing and enhance equipment calibration.
One is an onboard signal generator that allows users to generate analog and AES audio as well as MPX signals. The company says, “These reference signals are ideal for calibration, qualification and alignment of broadcast equipment.”
The second is a suite of analysis tools, such as “distortion analysis and oscilloscope functions for more advanced insight into signal behavior.”
WorldCast Systems Director of Product Marketing Gregory Mercier said, “With Version 1.3, we continue to push the Audemat MC6 beyond field testing into lab-grade signal analysis and automation. This release makes the MC6 not only a mobile tool for DAB+, FM and audio measurements, but also a key component in automated production testing, quality control processes and on-site commissioning.”
WorldCast Systems says the multiple features of the Audemat MC6 make it a valuable tool for broadcasters, operators and regulatory authorities.
