RTL Belgium, RTBF and NGroup have decided to jointly support the Ukraine by taking part in an initiative launched by the Belgian 12-12 Consortium.
The stations are planning a campaign across all media platforms RTL Belgium, RTBF and NGroup (TV, radio, digital) “to encourage the generosity of all their audiences.” They will broadcast a spot on Bel RTL, Radio Contact, La Première, Musiq3, Vivacité, Viva+, Tipik, Classic 21, NRJ, Nostalgie, Chérie, Nostalgie+.
In addition to the campaign, all of the three organizations’ radio stations will join a larger European action by broadcasting simultaneously “Give Peace a Chance” by John Lennon and Yoko Ono on Friday, March 4 at 8:45 a.m.
The 12-12 Consortium unites several humanitarian organizations that coordinate to raise funds in Belgium during humanitarian crises. These organizations are Caritas International, Médecins du Monde, Handicap International, Oxfam-Belgium, Plan International Belgium, the Belgian Red Cross, Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen and UNICEF Belgium.
