Radiodays Asia will make its Jakarta debut this September at Hotel Aryaduta Menteng, which will serve as both the venue and official delegate hotel. The organizers say the move highlights the increasing significance of Indonesia as a hub for audio innovation in the Asia-Pacific region.
Alongside the previously announced day-one workshops on AI tools, personal branding and sustainability, the event will feature an expanded “Podcast Day Asia” on Sept. 3. Sessions will include global podcast consumption trends, case studies on monetization and tools for growing reach, as well as the launch of a new Asia-focused podcast from BBC World Service. YouTube will also be part of the program, with a focus on opportunities for podcast creators on the platform.
Asia Podcast Awards
As part of the expanding podcast focus, the “Asia Podcast Awards” will recognize excellence across 26 categories. Organizers say the awards are designed to highlight the growth and diversity of podcasting across the region.
Local insights will also take center stage, with research firm Populix presenting new data on podcast listening in Indonesia. More than 60 speakers are expected, representing organizations such as iHeart, BBC World Service, ABC Australia and SPH Singapore.
Radiodays Asia continues to partner with the Public Media Alliance, which offers discounted access to its members.
The conference runs Sept. 1–3, beginning with the workshops and followed by two days of sessions across parallel tracks covering monetization, digital strategy and emergency reporting.
