The organizers of this year’s Radio TechCon have announced details of its bursary scheme. The Radio TechCon bursaries enable anyone to attend the event despite barriers to entry, including being from a background underrepresented in engineering or facing a financial barrier.
Radio TechCon 2024 takes place on Monday, Nov. 25, at IET London: Savoy Place.
The organizers say, “We’re passionate about ensuring that anyone interested in broadcast engineering, technology, coding or related fields can attend to meet peers and share their stories.”
Twenty bursaries are available this year, and each winner will receive a free ticket to Radio TechCon 2024, travel and accommodation contributions where possible, and a year’s free affiliate membership with The Radio Academy.
There are conditions. Applicants need to be UK-based and complete a simple online form explaining why they would like to attend Radio TechCon 2024, how it will benefit their career and how they will pass on the knowledge gained to others.
