Following up on a summer announcement, Lawo is now shipping its Virtual Sound Card (VSC) for macOS 14 and later builds.
The audio software “enables seamless integration of Apple desktops and laptops into Ravenna/AES67 AoIP networks,” according to the company.

Two versions are available — a free basic version that offers “functionality with one virtual audio device and two channels” and a more powerful licensed version that supports “up to 128 audio devices, 128 senders and receivers, and sampling rates up to 96 kHz. It also includes features like PTP synchronization for precise timing, multicast and unicast streaming, and adherence to SMPTE ST2110 and ST2022-7 standards for redundancy.”
The VSC works with Lawo’s Home apps manager.
