Sweden’s PodX Group has announced its investment in French podcasting company Nouvelles Écoutes. At the same time, Nouvelles Écoutes announced its acquisition of Studio Minuit, the second largest podcasting group in France in terms of monthly listeners.
PodX Group says this is an important step in achieving its mission to find the world’s leading podcast creators wherever they are and help them grow through financing and support with business development, internationalization and commercialization.
Nouvelles Écoutes has produced more than 1,000 hours of content, bringing together several million listeners. The company says it has doubled its turnover in two years, adding that acquiring Studio Minuit has consolidated its position as a leader in original French podcast production and continued its goal to develop the most diverse and innovative podcast offering on the market.
