On Jan 10 this year, Rhône FM introduced its listeners to new info packaging produced by Swiss sound branding agency Newtones. Based in the southern canton of Valais, Rhône FM has over 78,000 listeners.
“The station wanted a modern approach for their news, weather and traffic segments. We also had to create a brand-new Top of the Hour to fluidify things,” says Thomas Bise, Newtones CEO. “We had the opportunity to collaborate closely with the station’s producer, and the result won everybody over!”
Newtones is Switzerland’s only sound branding agency to offer made-to-measure radio jingles.
“We’re excited to see that more and more Swiss stations trust us with their sonic branding, realizing they no longer need to work with foreign studios,” said Bise. “It’s a real satisfaction for us.”
