
The organizers of WorldDAB Automotive 2025 have announced three new speakers for the upcoming event, taking place on Thursday, June 19, at Palacio Neptuno in Madrid.
Nick Piggott, project director at RadioDNS and vice president of WorldDAB, will speak about practical next steps for supporting the digital radio ecosystem. Piggott is one of the founding members of the RadioDNS Hybrid Radio project, which enables broadcast radio and IP services to work together.
Megan Lazovick, vice president at Edison Research, will present new consumer data highlighting in-car audio habits. According to WorldDAB, her session will examine the continued dominance of broadcast radio in the connected vehicle environment and its relevance in a shifting media landscape.
Jaume Pujol, head of strategic growth opportunities at Cellnex Telecom, will join RTVE’s Javier Sánchez Pérez to discuss Spain’s ongoing expansion of DAB+. Pujol also serves as chair of policy at Broadcast Networks Europe and will become vice chair from June 1.
WorldDAB Automotive 2025 will bring together broadcasters, car manufacturers and technology providers to explore the future of radio in connected vehicles.
WorldDAB Automotive 2025 also features a networking dinner on Wednesday, June 18, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Oroya Madrid in The Edition Hotel.
