With IP at the heart of broadcasting’s future, codecs are increasingly the gateways of content assimilation and distribution
In late May this year, Nautel conducted a training session with technical personnel of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT). The training focused on the operation, maintenance and capabilities of the 42 NV5LT (5 kW) FM transmitters now deployed throughout the country.
The 42 NV5LT is part of the NVLT Series — affordable transmitters designed for both analog and digital FM broadcasting.
Over the last 15 years, TRT has installed more than 250 Nautel AM and FM transmitters. The broadcaster uses them to deliver five regional and six national radio services.
TRT’s Voice of Turkey provides shortwave programming in 32 languages and is also available on the internet, satellite, and cable.
