The Audio Engineering Society and National Association of Broadcasters will be in Las Vegas for collocated fall conventions next year.
The AES Show will take place at the Westgate Hotel, Oct. 11–13, adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center where NAB Show will be held Oct. 9–13.
The collocation brings together a convention for pro audio professionals with one of the world’s largest convention encompassing media, entertainment and technology.
Traditionally held in the spring, the annual NAB Show has shifted its 2021 edition due to the ongoing pandemic.
The AES fall convention was previously collocated with NAB Show New York at the Javits Convention Center from 2017 to 2019. The two events were held virtually in 2020.
“Our October collocation with NAB Show New York for the past few years has proven mutually beneficial for attendees and exhibitors alike,” said Colleen Harper, AES’ executive director. “We all miss the engagement and excitement of the in-person AES Show and look forward to once again interacting at the convention with professional audio manufacturers and our colleagues,” she said.
“We’re excited to be building the most significant, in-person media and entertainment event of 2021 and are ready to bring the industry together once again at NAB Show in October,” said Chris Brown, NAB’s executive vice president of Conventions and Business Operations. “Together with AES, we’ll provide unparalleled access to critical information, inspiration and solutions for audio engineers and content creators.”
The 2021 NAB Show will also collocate with the Radio Show as well as NAB’s Sales and Management Television Exchange.
