Summ’it aims to connect audiences through audio storytelling

To whit, MaxxKonnect Broadcast says that its new U.192 is the world’s first USB audio interface designed specifically for software-based radio processors such as Thimeo’s increasingly popular Stereo Tool.
MaxxKonnect Group President Josh Bohn explained, “After working with Hans van Zutphen from Thimeo, we figured out that no one was making a broadcast-quality USB card that would do MPX. There are a few other products out there that require extra adapters or unable to use the same card for input and output. We have solved those problems building something customized specifically for the needs of broadcasters.”
MaxxKonnect teamed up with the solutions wizards at Angry Audio to make the U.912 a reality.
Besides high-level USB I/O, the U.192 runs audio in and out on analog and digital RJ45s along with composite BNC outputs for blissful 192 kHz MPX delivery. The onboard sample rate converter operates from 32 kHz to 192 kHz.
A very useful feature is an onboard signal loss detector. No wall wart either.
