The MaxxKonnect Group has partnered with the Beasley Media Group and SurferNetwork to launch MaxxRadio at the 2023 NAB Show in Las Vegas.
The station will launch online on April 1 at MaxxRadioNow.com with streaming services provided by SurferNetwork. It will broadcast throughout Las Vegas for the duration of the NAB Show on Beasley Media Group’s 96.3 KKLZ-HD2, starting on April 10.
MaxxRadio will be a full-service station specifically spotlighting the radio industry at the convention. Programming will feature manufacturer and industry news and updates and product information from radio industry manufacturers. It will feature special radio-specific events, including Transmitter Talk Tuesday with Nautel’s Jeff Welton and TWiRT with Kirk Harnack. All featured content will be available in podcast form on the website during and after the show.

Isis M. Jones joins MaxxRadio as program director. Jones has over three decades of industry experience at various stations, including WATV, WBHK and WBHJ in Birmingham, and WFUN and WHHL in St. Louis. She currently hosts the show #Room1420 on YouTube and Facebook.
Jones says, “MaxxKonnect created an opportunity with MaxxRadio for me to do what I love most: To connect with this amazing industry and the folks that make it go around 365 days a year. Looking forward to meeting you all at NABShow 2023!”
Joining Jones on the programming team will be MaxxKonnect Group Sales Manager for Wireless and Connectivity Products Chris Roth as imaging and production director. Roth previously held production director duties for 103.5 WTOP Washington, D.C., and has programmed at multiple stations, including WIAD Washington, D.C. and WWMY Raleigh.
MaxxRadio will broadcast live throughout the NAB Show from the MaxxKonnect Booth in West Hall, W2849.
