Music Production for Women is offering four full-year scholarships for female and non-binary individuals to join its Master Your Music program, valued at over US$10,000 per recipient.
The program, supported by Distrokid, Songtrust and MPW, offers weekly masterclasses on topics such as music production, mixing, music marketing and sound design.
“I’m so moved by the impact this program has had on our students’ lives in previous years. Watching them gain confidence as they realize their ability to produce their own music, something they once thought impossible, has been an absolute pleasure,” said MPW Founder Xylo Aria.
Industry professionals will teach masterclasses, including U.K. MPG award-winning vocal producer Ramera Abraham, who has worked with artists such as Adele, Stormzy and Little Mix, and U.S.-based artist and producer Lillian Frances, who has shared stages with Sylvan Esso and Shakey Graves. Participants will also receive monthly group mentoring sessions, access to a supportive community and additional resources.
The remote program requires a laptop, headphones and Ableton software. Scholarship recipients will be provided with Ableton Live Intro, with an option to upgrade at a discounted rate.
The scholarships aim to support individuals facing financial hardship who would otherwise be unable to access the program.
Applications close at midnight GMT on Nov. 29. For more details and to apply, go here.
