Monaco Media Diffusion, the public operator for radio and TV broadcast in the Principality of Monaco, has installed KYBIO monitoring and control platform at its FM and DAB broadcast infrastructure. KYBIO Media is developed by Connect, a software technology company owned by WorldCast Group.
KYBIO centralizes the monitoring of 136 of MMD’s devices, including Ecreso FM transmitters, DAB broadcasting equipment and most of the peripherals such as satellite receptors, audio processing and RDS encoder.
KYBIO integrates all the essential functions for an optimized management of all types of media infrastructures, explained its developer. Available as an on-premise or SaaS solution, the platform supports a number of products used in the media ecosystem. Dashboards are customizable for the different users involved with the infrastructure.
Connect explains the product has a straightforward pricing policy for licenses, drivers and associated services, and “gives customers total control of their total cost of ownership” throughout the product’s lifetime.
“Our platform offers a full set of monitoring, management and control modules that will help MMD’s team ensure seamless operation of their FM/DAB infrastructure and devices,” said Sonia Marmouri, customer success director at Connect.
MMD decided to purchase KYBIO’s on-premise license with a five-year support contract after trialing the SaaS version in 2020.
“It is a tool perfectly suited to our profession, designed for media broadcasting. It is powerful and intuitive to use. Integrated ticket management is a plus that allows better communication with customers. The Connect team is available and reacts quickly to changes in our infrastructure,” commented Thierry Poyet, managing director, and Guillaume Asso, technical contact, at Monaco Media Diffusion.
