Commercial radio reaches 12.4 million weekly listeners in Australia

Nationally syndicated morning show “Hey Morton” has joined the weekday lineup of 105.1 WJZM, Fowler Media’s AC-formatted station serving the Nashville area from Clarksville, Tenn. The family-friendly comedic show is now heard across southern Kentucky to northern Alabama, expanding its national footprint.
Syndicated by Benztown, “Hey Morton” originates from Z90/XHITZ-FM in San Diego and airs live weekdays from 5 to 10 a.m. It is hosted by Rick Morton, Edina Macic and producer D-Rock (Derrick Malbrough), and is already on air in markets including San Diego, Boise and Key West.
“We are thrilled to be coming to Clarksville and the Nashville area,” said Morton. “It’s a special part of America, and we love to be able to connect with the new audience of 105.1 WJZM.”
Benztown’s Mark Wilson said the program is “a complete one-stop shop for stations looking for content that’s relatable, hot topic and comedic, delivered with a family-friendly edge.”
Recent guests on the show include Jerry Seinfeld, Matt Rife, Jim Gaffigan and Jeremy Piven. Popular segments include “Daily Dirt,” “Heads Up” and “Phone Jibba,” which features prank calls with a humorous twist.
