Genelec Inc. has appointed Andrew Glasmacher as sales manager — install and professional products. Glasmacher, a seasoned sales and marketing professional with more than two decades of experience, joins the company’s U.S. sales team.
Before joining Genelec, Glasmacher was a regional sales manager for a commercial AV manufacturer’s representative firm, overseeing sales in Indiana and Michigan. He also worked as a key account representative at Sweetwater, managing product training, marketing campaigns and inventory, and collaborating across departments. Earlier roles include marketing manager, where he produced training videos and delivered CTS-certified courses at trade shows like InfoComm, and territory representative, managing a dealer network in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.
Glasmacher is also a vocalist and drummer with The Sweetwater All Stars, a nine-piece R&B band based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sound Arts from Ex’pression College for Digital Arts, graduating salutatorian in 2005.
