Ferncast is holding a live online event on Monday Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. CET that provides insight into virtualization of live radio and streaming in the cloud.
The company was planning to exhibit at IBC2021 but when organizers cancelled in-person participation, it says it decided to organize this free event to give visitors the opportunity “to experience a virtual visit to the Ferncast.”
The online session will cover virtualization of audio communications and live radio, as well as personalization of radio for individual listeners. Ferncast’s audio experts will demo aixtream, a scalable software running as server or VM installation, and will be available for a live Q&A session about new developments in audio technology. The company will also announce plans for future developments regarding radio streaming in the cloud with the presentation of its community radio app.
“We’re continuously extending the functionality of aixtream,” said Detlef Wiese, CEO of Ferncast. “Beyond that, we are also involved in developments to help radio broadcasters broadcast from any remote site as easily as possible. This includes a combination of all functionalities of a radio station, an intuitive UI and advanced technology to ensure connectivity even from very far-off sites.
