Radio and the car are like peanut butter and jelly — a long and mutually beneficial relationship. But modern media is a rapidly changing environment with the car space a prized target. Xperi/DTS will be hosting a free webinar, “The Future of Content-First Entertainment in the Car,” Aug. 27, 12 noon PST (9 p.m. CET).
Execs and various poobahs from Xperi will be on hand to provide their wisdom: Joe D’Angelo, SVP Broadcast Radio and Digital Audio; Bob Dillon, SVP of Engineering, Automotive Connected Media; Jeff Jury, general manager, Connected Car; Anthony Landamia, Sr. Director of product management, Connected Car; and Scott Maddux, VP Content Strategy and Business Development.
According to a release participants will “Understand the importance of a content-first experience in the car and how deep relationships with broadcasters and streaming services enable DTS AutoStage to deliver this experience.” There’ll also be a live demo of the DTS AutoStage platform and “to see its best-in-class aggregation and personalization capabilities across audio, video and gaming.” And attendees will “Learn how DTS AutoStage paves the way for monetization opportunities, utilizing unobtrusive advertising to generate recurring revenue after vehicle sale.”
