U.DAB launches largest small-scale DAB multiplex in the U.K.
With hours left until it kicks off, The Podcast Show 2022 has announced the final line-up at London’s Business Design Centre on May 25 and 26.
Emilly Maitlis and Annie Macmanus are the latest additions to the impressive roster of podcast talent speakers, including Louis Theroux, Jon Sopel, Fearne Cotton, Annie Macmanus, Munroe Bergdorf, Mark Kermode & Simon Mayo, Nihal Arthanayake, Munroe Bergdorf, Gary Lineker, Jay Rayner, Elizabeth Day, Richard Herring and “The Receipts.”
The Podcast Show is growing, and understandably so — it reflects the state of the industry. With more than 19 million podcast listeners in the United Kingdom and an expected advertising expenditure of £80 million in the next four years, the podcast industry is in good health.
The organizers have gone to great lengths to attract attendees from the full scope of podcasting: industry professionals to independent podcast creators, business leaders, emerging talent and fans alike. Likewise, it aims to explore every aspect of the industry, including how to get paid for podcasting and the secrets of sound design and Louis Theroux’s top interview tips.
Across two days, it will host over 350 speakers, 150 in-person panels, 120 industry brands, careers advice sessions and unrivalled networking opportunities. Delegates will hear from and get face-to-face time with the likes of Lead Partners Spotify and Amazon Music, plus Official Partners Acast, BBC Sounds, Global and YouTube.
