Qmusic, which has two radio stations — one covering the Netherlands and the other the Dutch-speaking Flanders region in Belgium — has new on-air styling. The jingles package was developed and produced by Brandy, together with the stations’ designers. The sonic logo and the slogan have remained the same, but the production of the jingles is an innovative updating for the DJs as well as the listeners.
Qmusic has a strong radio footprint in both the Netherlands and Belgium, and Brandy, which has been the group’s international imaging partner for almost 20 years, was given the brief to structure the jingles in a way to make them even more enjoyable for the DJs to use, and to create a sound that would “evoke an instant good feeling.”
The company explains that it translated the Qmusic “Hits and Feel Good” into a “new and energetic — but extremely musical” — sound combination, which it says, has now become something of a Brandy trademark.
