AxelTech is set to reveal new products and features at IBC2024.
TigerSync Streamer is a new feature in the latest release of Tiger E3/E5, an MPX Stereo Generator and RDS Encoder with advanced signal processing capabilities. TigerSync Streamer utilizes IceCast to distribute audio to FM transmitters through a simple Internet connection. This ensures precise synchronization for audio playback through inaudible timestamp codes transmitted via the Opus codec. The system achieves an accuracy of a few milliseconds in maintaining synchronization between the decoding units.
The Oxygen 3000 Plus console will debut with new features, including smart keys setup and a web interface for remote control. The console is available in three configurations — 8, 12 or 16 faders with 1 or 2 audio I/O boards and 16+16 or 32+32 Dante I/O. Remote control of the consoles is supported through the Oxygen Remoter app and the new web interface, now available across the Oxygen console line-up.
“Our goal is to make daily operations as straightforward as possible,” said an AxelTech spokesperson. The new SmartKeys interface includes a list of presets, and a preview of a talk show feature will also be available.
AxelTech has also released firmware updates for its Falcon X series audio processors. The update allows users to switch between audio or MPX inputs, enabling smooth transitions between studios, including those with third-party products.
The Tiger E MPX stereo generator, RDS encoder series and the Fox3 changeover now include REST APIs for input switching. The Tiger E series also has an API for the RDS data set manager.
AxelTech is at Stand 8.C72.
