Adthos has released the first iteration of a new free ad sales platform that “bridges the divide in audio ad sales.” The platform features technology that is specifically created for radio and online streaming, and allows digital audio and radio to be sold seamlessly within a single integrated campaign.
The company explains that the Adthos Ad-Server is a lightweight yet powerful addition to an existing traffic or playout system. It can be installed without the need for multiple integrations, with no downtime. It allows stations to sell, schedule and execute multi-platform campaigns with minimal intervention and also automates a number of tasks.
The first release includes features such as instant reconciliation and an intuitive customer interface, providing fast access to campaign updates and insights and the ability to replace spots in real time. Further releases are planned for the rest of the year and beyond.
“This solution brings together some truly great innovations to answer some of radio’s biggest challenges,” said Raoul Wedel, CEO of Adthos. “I’m especially proud of the more than 100 people at nine companies in 11 countries that have worked for the past two years to make it a reality. And this is only the first release, there’s so much more still to come.”
