
Broadcast Electronics has appointed Dustin Vance as Western regional sales manager for its transmission products and services across the western United States and Canada. The company says he will be based in Newport News, Virginia.
Broadcast Electronics, known globally for designing and manufacturing transmitters for AM, FM, HD Radio, TV and related media software, says Vance brings broad technical and customer-facing experience to the role. His background includes positions in sales, engineering and customer service with Harris Broadcast, GatesAir and Ingersoll Rand, as well as time as chief engineer for stations in Tucson, Arizona.
Rich Redmond, president and COO of Broadcast Electronics, said the company is pleased to welcome Vance to the team, noting his “extensive experience and many great customer relationships.” Redmond added that Vance’s technical expertise and field experience “will help customers solve problems and simplify their operations.”
Vance said he is looking forward to the new role, adding that his combined experience in engineering, transmitter development and customer support gives him “a strong understanding of the broadcast industry and its technology ecosystem.” He said he aims to help Broadcast Electronics’ radio and TV clients “find the best solutions to solve complex problems and cost-effectively improve their operations.”
