Genelec has strengthened its growing AV business by appointing Audio XL as its distribution partner for the entire Genelec AV Installation range throughout the Benelux region. Audio-Technica Benelux will continue to handle Genelec’s range of professional studio products across Benelux. Genelec says Audio XL’s appointment deepens the relationship between it and the European AV Group, providing its AV customers with consistently high levels of experience, professionalism and service across the six DACH and Benelux territories.
Founded in 2004 and based in Utrecht, Netherlands, the Audio XL team specializes in the live, retail and installed sound markets. Audio XL covers the entire region and its various language requirements with a separate showroom in Antwerp, Belgium, and two independent sales teams. As the existing distributor for several highly respected brands such as AMX and Harman, Audio XL already brings an extensive range of AV system solutions to customers across Benelux, which Genelec’s loudspeaker technology now complements.
Audio XL is a key part of the European AV Group, which also includes existing Genelec distribution partners Audio Pro in Germany and Arocom in Switzerland, who together service the DACH AV market. With more than 150 employees and long-standing partners, the Group offers premium solutions for the entire signal chain.
