Pattison Media launches “resonate” programmatic radio platform
WorldDAB will launch a new DAB+ Public Policy Toolbox during a webinar on Tuesday, May 19.
According to WorldDAB, the initiative is intended to support countries evaluating or implementing DAB+ digital radio services by highlighting policy approaches used in existing rollout markets across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. The organization said the toolbox focuses on regulatory measures intended to encourage broadcaster participation and listener adoption.
WorldDAB said the project was compiled by consultancy South 180 and is designed to guide policymakers, broadcasters, network operators and manufacturers involved in digital radio deployment.
The webinar will feature David Fernández Quijada, research director and co-founder at South 180, and Jacqueline Bierhorst, president of WorldDAB. The session will be hosted by Matt Deegan, media commentator and multiplex operator at Folder Media.
According to WorldDAB, the toolbox examines policy approaches intended to support clearer regulatory decision-making, accelerate rollout and reduce implementation risk for DAB+ services.
The webinar will take place on Zoom on Tuesday, May 19, at 9 a.m. BST / 10 a.m. CEST.
