WorldCast Systems announces its new free on-demand webinar entitled “Next Generation Broadcast Chain” in the context of FM and FM-SFN applications.
In this 50-minute webinar, Kevin Campbell and Hartmut Foerster, provide information of the “Next Generation Broadcast Chain,” composed of WorldCast Systems’ APT codec technologies.
According to the company, during the event, viewers will receive information on the four main pillars of WorldCast’s FM and FM-SFN applications. These are Composite/MPX, APTmpX, SureStream and SynchroStream.
The company will also use the webinar to provide further details on the APT SynchroStream technology for synchronized audio transmission.
APT SynchroStream, is a hardware and software option available for the latest APT IP Codec generation. It utilizes an externally supplied 10 MHz clock and the 1pps GPS signal as time reference. WorldCast says this time-synchronous IP transmission and audio content playout technology affords users high stability and synchronization adjustment for FM-SFNs, FM an DAB+ transmissions.
