Sennheiser Spectera sits at center of NEP Australia’s audio overhaul
In a demonstration of cross-continental cooperation the Telos Alliance is using the IBC show to debut the fruits of its partnership with France’s Ip-Studio.
Those fruits, according to Telos, are “Studio Zero,” a “cloud-based studio solution,” aimed at creating and powering small, remote and mobile studios for broadcasters. The point is to leave behind cumbersome hardware when possible.
The first iteration of the Studio Zero concept is the new Altus virtual mixing console using a version of Ip-Studio’s IP-Tablet console software. It also uses Ip-Studio’s IP-Screener to control the Telos VX virtual VoIP system if so desired. Also being linked together on the Altus platform are integration of the Telos Infinity virtual intercom system and Omnia Enterprise 9s virtual audio processing. The latter can provide a digital ųMPX feed to the transmitter.
