Nautel says its GV2 transmitters are the first in the industry to integrate all HD Radio components inside the transmitter, adding that with an IP audio feed at a transmitter site, it’s audio in, RF out — no external boxes are necessary. HD Radio time-alignment drift is a thing of the past.
When Nautel’s Software-Based Air Chain is combined with a GV2 transmitter, the result is digital radio with reduced wiring, fewer boxes, lower costs and decreased complexity.
Nautel says its “Just Add Audio” consolidates all components of HD Radio implementation into one streamlined solution, enabling seamless integration of audio processing, importer, exporter, support for station logos, album art, artist experiences, PSD, RDS and more within the transmitter.
Highlights include Blend-Lock eliminating HD/FM drift; Omnia for Nautel FM and HD audio processing; flexible air chain hosting/location options; new capabilities such as an air chain selector, an integrated Xperi Gen4 importer, exporter, and PAR2 Engine; as well as built-in STL and LiveWire, integrated for easy installation and management.
Nautel’s GV2 Series is available in power levels from 3 kW to 80 kW.
