In the latest RedTech Briefing, Joan Warner, the CEO of Commercial Radio Australia explains the reasons for Australian Radio’s relatively strong performance even as many other radio markets around the world continue to decline in ratings and revenue.
Warner provides fascinating insight into two projects the Australian industry has been working on. First, a hybrid radio ratings measurement system that measures listening across FM/AM as well as streaming platforms and soon to include podcast listening.
Second, a soon to be released platform that will allow ad agencies to buy all commercial radio more easily. The platform is synchronized with every radio station’s inventory management system.
