Podcast Day 24 is making its last call for regularly priced tickets to the 24-hour global event. Prices go up on June 1, announced the organizers.
The show officially begins in Australia on June 7 at 9 a.m. AEST (12 a.m. BST/June 6, 7 p.m EDT.) James Cridland, managing director of Podnews, will deliver the opening remarks for the event.
At 2 p.m. in Sydney, it’s 9 a.m. in London (4 a.m. EDT) and the focus moves to the podcasting in Europe. Those attending in-person in Australia have a chance to extend their day with drinks and networking at the harbor while the Europe sessions continue online.
North America takes the virtual baton at 12:00 p.m. EDT (5 p.m. BST/2 a.m. AEST) and runs the show until 7 p.m, when the full 24-hour tour of podcasting around the world concludes.
Each leg is filled with a diverse group of speakers from the podcasting industry. In addition to standard sessions, the lineup includes Indie Spotlights that give attention to up and coming podcasters, Fireside Chats to get more intimate and plenty of chances to network with others in the industry.
The full schedule is available online. For those who can’t make it to every session, there is the option to watch on the Catch Up platform afterwards.
Tickets to attend are £99 (€114) +VAT until June 1.
Tickets that include the in-person event in Sydney are AUD$279+GST.
