U.DAB launches largest small-scale DAB multiplex in the U.K.
Orban announced it is expanding its engineering team in response to what it describes as strong growth in demand for its audio processing solutions. The company is recruiting electronic design engineers with expertise in analog and digital audio and control systems, software coders with experience in Linux, 56000 DSP and Fortran, as well as PCB layout specialists familiar with Altium, Orcad and PADS.
David Day, president of Orban, said, “Our engineering team, led by industry legend Bob Orban, has been breaking norms in the audio processing world for decades. We’re looking for people who can contribute to the vision of the team while bringing innovative designs to the market.”
Orban says it offers remote work and flexible hours along with competitive wages and benefits to attract candidates from across the industry. The company, founded in 1967 and headquartered in Pennsauken, New Jersey, is known globally for its broadcast audio processing technology, which includes tools for loudness control, multiband compression and signal clarity.
