Nautel is hosting another of its Transmission Talk Tuesday webinars on June 14. This one will focus on the care and feeding of AM arrays.
There seems to be a lot of talk about the bandwidth and linearity required for HD Radio, but little on how improving those things will significantly increase the quality of a conventional analog signal, whether mono or C-QUAM AM Stereo.
Nautel says it will discuss the things that are easy to work on, such as ground system stability and proper bonding techniques. It will also touch on issues that require additional cost and planning, such as phase rotation and lowering the Q of a system. The company adds that items discussed in this session will apply in some parts to other facilities.
This session will include guest Mike Patton from Michael Patton and Associates.
The webinar is on Tuesday June 14 at 5 p.m – 6 p.m BST (6 p.m. – 7 p.m. CET). You can register here.
