The Italian radio advertising market posted a strong start to 2025, with investments rising 4.4 per cent in the first half compared with the same period last year, according to “Radio Speaker,” an online magazine and training organization focused on the Italian radio industry, citing data from the FCP-Assoradio Observatory, coordinated by Reply.

FCP-Assoradio is the Italian association representing commercial radio advertising sales houses. Its Observatory monitors national radio advertising trends, while Reply is a consulting, systems integration and digital services company headquartered in Turin, Italy, that provides the data analysis.
Despite a 3.5 per cent decline in June, industry observers describe it as a one-off dip rather than a broader trend. “Radio Speaker” notes that FCP-Assoradio President Monica Gallerini emphasized radio’s enduring role within integrated marketing strategies, calling the medium “central” and praising its ability to engage listeners across different moments of the day.
The report highlights the vitality of the sector, pointing to an increasing number of advertisers embracing radio. New brands are turning to the medium for its flexibility, mobility and capacity to integrate into cross-media consumption patterns.
