The Digital Radio Mondiale digital radio team will be traveling to India in early July for the BES Expo International Conference & Exhibition on Broadcast & Media Technology, July 3–5 at the Pragati Maidan exhibition center in New Dehli.
There they’ll be showing the latest in DRM digital radio technology. The enormous Indian market is debating what digital radio path to choose and DRM has been aggressively making its pitch.
The BES announcement said, “One of the key aspects for the DRM presence at BES 2025 will be to demonstrate how the multichannel solution for digitizing the FM broadcast frequency, fits like a glove the Indian current FM broadcast setup with the extra advantages of saving spectrum and energy, while offering more choice and services. The DRM multichannel single-transmitter solution is perfect for Indian broadcasters’ interest in maximum cost-efficiency while embarking on digitization which can offer new DRM revenue opportunities with more services and new DRM receiver solutions.”
DRM will be at Booth B12 in Hall 10.
