LeGrett said he is joining Beasley at a time of change for the company. “Beasley’s commitment to local communities, strong culture and forward-thinking approach to media — especially its transformation across digital, streaming and multiplatform platforms — aligns perfectly with my passion for building innovative, integrated solutions that drive real impact for advertisers and listeners alike,” he said.
LeGrett brings more than 15 years of senior leadership experience from iHeartMedia, where he held a range of executive roles. Most recently, he served as president of iHeartSports, overseeing the company’s sports audio portfolio.
Previously, LeGrett was the division president for the West Coast and market president in Los Angeles, leading what the company described as its top-billing radio cluster from 2015 to 2023. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles, including president of political strategy, president of Citadel Broadcasting and senior vice president and market manager at Infinity Broadcasting.
Beasley said the appointment is intended to support its long-term competitive position as it continues to develop its digital and multiplatform business.
