Alpha Brasília FM, a regional pop station broadcasting across Brazil’s capital on 89.9FM, offers information, music, sports and entertainment content. Listeners can also tune in via the station’s website.
In its latest studio renovation, the station’s technical management chose the AEQ Forum IP Split digital console for its main broadcast studio. The decision was based on its ease of use, operational robustness and high audio quality. The AEQ Forum IP Split is designed for on-air broadcast control, incorporating essential features such as automatic monitor cut, cough cut, fader start, signaling control and external communications management.
With a modular design and compact size, the AEQ Forum adapts to various setups, including self-control and mixed configurations. The Forum IP Split version includes the FR Core modular engine in three-rack units, accommodating up to six quad-fader modules and a control and monitoring unit.
The console offers AoIP multi-channel input and output cards compatible with the AES67 protocol via Dante technology, enabling signal integration with over 300 manufacturers’ equipment. MADI connectivity and up to two internal digital telephone hybrids are options for further customization.
