Sept. 18 marked a significant step in the evolution of Radio Monaco, which has now transitioned to fully digital multimedia. The station’s visual experience now includes five 4k ultra-high-definition cameras, custom lighting for each presenter, two large video walls and immersive LED strips. Audio technology is equally advanced, with the integration of an AI-assisted RCS system, ensuring broadcast sound quality meets top international standards. The team at SAVE Diffusion expertly executed the new audio broadcast setup, which also involved a complete Wheatstone WheatNet IP audio networked studio system comprising of routing, logic control, console surfaces, talent stations, mic processors and virtual interfaces, all tightly integrated into RCS program automation as well as camera automation.

To oversee this transformation, Radio Monaco turned to French DJ and technology enthusiast Joachim Garraud, who lent his expertise in every aspect, from technical choices to studio acoustics, design and lighting. This marks the beginning of a new era for Monaco’s only radio station. With this ultra-modern digital infrastructure, the station now delivers a 360-degree multimedia experience.
