Audio, imaging and sensing technology company DTS — a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xperi Holding Corporation — and ARD, the association of Germany’s regional public service broadcasters, have announced the stations’ integration into DTS AutoStage, the global hybrid radio platform.
According to ARD, its stations reach more than 52 million people and represent more than 74% of all radio listening in Germany. DTS will integrate the stations into the DTS AutoStage ecosystem at no charge. DTS AutoStage is designed to increase consumer content engagement by using imagery, station logos, songs, and comprehensive artist and album information while making the broadcasters’ content more personalized and easier to find. DTS AutoStage also enables continued station listening from local broadcast stations when the vehicle drives out of broadcast range.

Visually-immersive

According to Xperi, DTS AutoStage has content partnerships with major broadcast groups and aggregators worldwide, including BBC, Bauer, Cumulus, Global Radio, NPO, Audacy, Beasley, Cox Media, radiko, Radio Maria and FM World.
