Xperi has reported that its DTS AutoStage automobile-based radio broadcast listenership measurement system has been enhanced with data now becoming available from 52 more U.S. markets. That addition deepens and broadens the granularity of the listenership numbers.
Teased out a little further that adds up to “3,000 new stations, 162,000 additional in-vehicle listeners, and 453,680 hours of AM/FM in-vehicle listening in January alone,” according to Xperi.
Xperi Senior Director for Broadcast Strategy & Business Development Juan Galdamez said, “Some of these markets haven’t had access to actionable measurements of listener behavior in a long time. We are pleased to continue to expand broadcaster access to these unprecedented insights in radio markets across the U.S. of all sizes, and in near real-time.”
