WorldDAB announces more Summit speakers

WorldDAB has announced more speakers for the 2023 Summit in Munich, Germany, on Nov. 8.

Ignatius Hendrasmo, President Director of public broadcaster Radio Republik Indonesia, will provide an update on the country’s development of DAB+. Other executives driving DAB’s expansion across Africa and Asia will join him.

The Summit will also look at how to best manage and encourage the pace of migration to DAB+ with a panel of regulators and experts, including Kathrin Kluser of OFCOM Switzerland. Kluser represents OFCOM in the DigiMig Group, which coordinates all aspects of the migration from FM to DAB+ in Switzerland.

Paul Sylvester, Content Director for Absolute Radio in the United Kingdom, will talk on successful digital strategies for commercial radio. The station is celebrating its 15th birthday with a record 5.4 million listeners and, with its network of decade/genre-based spin-off stations, is widely regarded as one of commercial radio’s leading innovators.

WorldDAB has also published a program of the Summit.

The Summit is at Design Offices Munich Atlas (13th Floor), Rosenheimer Street, Munich, and online. You can register to attend either in person or online here.
