The DEVA Broadcast Radio Explorer III DAB is a DAB/DAB+ coverage tool fully compliant with the ETSI EN 300 401 DAB standard. It packs two accurate and reliable DAB tuners.
Radio Explorer III DAB can monitor up to 10 DAB services with predefined acquisition times in a round-robin scheduler. It stores measured parameters in a log file for further analysis through the DEVA Device Manager software.
It supports Program Associated Data, all standard bitrates and VBR, and automatically displays live metadata. It measures the following DAB signals: RSSI, SNR, CNR, FIC Quality, FIB errors, FFT offset and left- and right-channel audio levels.
The BandScan function of the Radio Explorer III DAB provides an overview of all DAB/DAB+ signals available, along with their RF signal strength. BandScans are possible within any section of Band III, whereas the generated spectrum diagram shows the RF level vs. channel. A Loudness meter can be shown as defined by ITU BS.1770-4 and EBU R128 recommendations.
The Radio Explorer III is accessible via the web/Android/iOS, and other versions are available for analog FM and HD Radio.
