SwissRadioDay has announced additional speakers for its 25th anniversary edition, scheduled for Aug. 28 in Zürich. A key session will tackle the implications of artificial intelligence for copyright, musical diversity and radio’s curatorial role.
Benjamin Gut, legal associate at SUISA; Roman Unternährer, music research head at CH Media; and Swiss musician Aakash Sethi will explore how AI is reshaping music usage and what frameworks are needed for fair composition, licensing, and remuneration. The session signals a clear call: the current system needs new boundaries — and radio must assert its relevance in the era of AI.
SwissRadioDay anchor Maria Victoria Haas will host the day’s program, guiding audiences through the discussions with insight and ease.
