Radiodays Europe has partnered with Canadian Music Week to add another annual event to its calendar. Radiodays North America will be held as part of the week-long Canadian Music Week conference held each year in Toronto. It is scheduled to take place June 8 and 9 in Toronto at the Harbour Castle Westin Hotel on the shores of Lake Ontario.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring the Radiodays Europe brand and its expert international content to North America” says Peter Niegel, General Manager for Radiodays Europe. “Toronto is the ideal location to bring everyone together to ensure that we as an industry move forward with strategies for the future.”
Neill Dixon, founder and president of Canadian Music Week, which marked its 40th anniversary this year, added: “I’ve long admired the people at Radiodays Europe and the outstanding job they do each year for the radio and audio industry. It’s now time to come together for the betterment of all. This partnership will create a new standard for broadcast conferences around the world.”
The organizers say the event will attract speakers and panelists from all over the world to discuss and strategize all aspects of over the air and digital broadcasting over the two-day event. The organizers say have already got support from both the Canadian Radio Council and the country’s national public broadcaster, CBC.

Radiodays North America is the third international Radiodays event, building on Radiodays Europe which next takes place in Prague in March 2023, and Radiodays Asia which was in Kuala Lumpur last month.
