Summ’it aims to connect audiences through audio storytelling
Slovenia’s Radio Capris has upgraded its main studio with an AEQ Capitol IP12 digital mixing console as part of a wider modernization project at its new facilities in downtown Koper. Founded in 1993, Radio Capris serves western Slovenia, including Primorska, Ljubljana, Kranj and Postojna, with a mix of local news, entertainment and music programming.
The commercial broadcaster relocated from the city’s outskirts and used the move to refresh its studio infrastructure. It has also expanded distribution with the launch of DAB+ broadcasts while retaining its long-standing 91.7 FM frequency.
Radio Capris selected the AEQ Capitol IP12 for its main studio, working with its technical team and MTD, AEQ’s local partner in Slovenia, on the installation. AEQ says the console provides the Radio Capris team with a stable, intuitive digital workflow and integrated IP connectivity.
The AEQ Capitol IP12 supports analog, digital and AoIP audio sources from a single control surface, helping stations manage live broadcasts and production while allowing room for future studio expansion.
