Broadcast equipment manufacturer Inovonics will be showing it’s newest SiteStreamer remote AM signal monitoring device at the NAB Show.
The 1/3-rack-size INOmini 647 SiteStreamer II is for AM station monitoring duty and takes up where the Model 637 leaves off, according to the company. It has “a sensitive SDR-based tuner, improved LCD display, high-quality streaming for multiple remote listeners, improved metering for both off-air and auxiliary reception, more alarm options, two levels of password protection.”
The 647 can monitor multiple stations through Inovonics’ StationRotation frequency sequencer. It has an onboard AM band scanner.
Inovonics describes the SiteStreamer family as “web-enabled receivers for remote signal monitoring. They´re great confidence monitors for remote transmitter or translator sites — allowing radio engineers and broadcasters to monitor their sites from any web-enabled device such as PC, tablet or smartphone.”
The INOmini 647 SiteStreamer II will be on display in Booth W3535 at the NAB Show.
