As Dante digital audio becomes resident in more facility audio systems it needs to make nice with other residents, some of which might not speak Dante.
Neutrik has a solution — the line level audio DLine interfaces.
Available as a two analog input/two analog output to Dante (NA2-IO-DLine), two analog input to Dante (NA-2I-DLine) or Dante to two analog output (NA-2O-DLine) box, analog connections are via XLR. Power is via POE.
A release explained, “The rugged etherCON connector, used for Dante connectivity, features a halo light ring for clear and attractive status signaling. The etherCON port accepts either standard RJ45 connectors or rugged etherCON cable connectors for secure, locking connections.”
Neutrik Americas Vice President of Technology Fred Morgenstern said of the new DLine devices, “They feature higher performance, and the different configurations enable customers to select the IO variations that best meet their specific requirement.” He added, “The halo etherCON connector provides attractive network status signaling, which is larger and clearer than that provided by the prior simple LEDs. And the new products are more stage-ready with their black, non-reflective, ESD-safe asymmetrical push tabs on the female XLRs, replacing the shiny metal tabs of the prior generation.”
