CRA unveils ‘Audio x Mixed Media Modeling’ session at Heard 2025
The National Association of Broadcasters has opened the nomination window for its Celebration of Service to America Awards for activities in 2024.
The awards are aimed at highlighting radio and TV stations’ “impact on the communities they serve. From staffing food drives and fundraisers, to issuing public safety alerts and breaking news, from severe weather updates to investigative stories, local television and radio stations are part of a critical infrastructure that keeps communities safe, heard and informed.”
The awards go to individual stations and ownership groups and are divided up into market sizes so smaller stations can get recognition for their efforts as well.
Nominations can be for content and programs, campaigns, radiothons/telethons and general leadership. Here’s last year’s Celebration of Service to America Award winners.
NAB Leadership Foundation President Michelle Duke, said, “A critical part of the NAB Leadership Foundation’s mission is to elevate the role of local broadcasters in their communities and showcase how much they give back.”
Entry deadline is March 10. The awards will be presented at a June 10, gala in Washington.
