The annual Hamburg Open show at Hamburg, Germany’s Messe und Congresse has completed its run, Jan. 14–15.
According to a release, the 2026 multimedia show attracted 2,700 attendees and approximately 200 exhibitors.
Hamburg Messe und Congresse Vice President of Exhibitions Daniel Schmitt said, “The response to the content was exceptionally positive — many visitors told us that they got exactly the information they needed for their 2026 projects.”
The release added, “Artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructures, hybrid production models and cybersecurity were the main topics at Hamburg Open 2026. In panels, lectures and masterclasses, experts discussed how production chains can be reorganized — and what role technological sovereignty will play in the future. One thing became particularly clear: AI is no longer a topic for the future, but an integral part of modern media production — from automation and distribution to new revenue models.”
It added, “The increasing convergence of the AV, IT and broadcast worlds shows that professional media production today is conceived in flexible ecosystems — with workflows ranging from recording to post-production and storage to playback.”
Beyond the show floor and main stages, there were over 60 session, according to the press release.
Next year’s show, same place, Jan. 20–21, 2027.
