The Digital Radio Mondiale General Assembly 2024 will take place next week, May 19–20, in Dubai. The precise location will be the Radisson Blu Hotel.

The event will be kicked off on May 19 with a DRM introduction, “DRM — The What, Why and How.”

According to a release, the conference “includes the latest updates on key markets like India, Indonesia, China, South Africa, other countries in Africa, Asia and Europe.”

In addition it adds, “One of the most anticipated sessions is that on the receivers, this year bigger, more comprehensive and innovative than ever. Many multistandard receiver solutions will also feature in the updates and demonstrations prepared by companies across the world.”

An announced speaker is Podeo Founder and CEO Stefano Fallaha. Podeo is, according to the release, “the largest and fastest growing audio-tech company in the Middle East and North Africa.”

Previously announced, the conference will also highlight DRM in the car.
