Attention DAB+ broadcasters, especially broadcast engineers along with anyone planning DAB+ broadcasting in the future — digital radio promoter WorldDAB has scheduled a free webinar for next month, Dec. 11, 10–12 noon, CET.
Labeled, “DAB+ Network Resilience: Timing and Synchronization,” it will be helmed by Hanns Wolter, chair of the WorldDAB Spectrum and Network Implementation Committee.
The Wolter said in the announcement, “As DAB+ continues to replace legacy FM systems, the resilience of our networks has never been more important. I’d like to invite you to join me and the WorldDAB Spectrum and Network Implementation Committee for a webinar on DAB+ network resilience: timing and synchronization. We’ll explore in depth how this is critical to maintaining robust Single Frequency Networks (SFNs).”
It added details: “Learn from industry leaders about building efficient, resilient networks. Understand vulnerabilities in time reference sources and their impact on network performance.
